The definition of Luxurious according to Webster’s dictionary is the following:
lux·u·ri·ous- extremely comfortable, elegant, or enjoyable, especially in a way that involves great expense
I totally agree with that definition except for the part that mentions “great expense”. But, for me, living a luxurious life means more than how much something costs. When I purchase items for my home or items for my personal use, I take into consideration how that item makes me feel along with the look of the item and the quality of the said item. There are gorgeous glass coffee mugs in my coffee bar of which I only paid a couple of dollars from the thrift store and their quality is amazing. Also, I get a tremendous amount of pleasure each time I enjoy my tea or coffee from them.
For this month’s Favorites, I am sharing a few of my Favorite coffee table books, along with personal items that bring me a lot of joy and comfort.
